Olaf from Frozen makes a cute math craftivity. Here is how one teacher makes a Frozen Olaf snowman craft activity connect with spending money and counting pennies in her kindergarten classroom.
You could use this at older grade levels too with different amounts of money.

Frozen Olaf Craft Activity
Start with the math lesson in it all. Students shop for fun pieces to build their unique Frozen Olaf snowman. They get to choose the eyes, nose, a scarf or buttons all while keeping track on a receipt of the money that they use to “buy” the items.
It’s a clever way to teach many concepts at once. Plus, you’ll love the tip this teacher uses to help make the buying process go quickly.
Students build their unique snowmen using her free printable Olaf Frozen template and it makes a fantastic display when combined with their shopping receipt…
