Right, let’st start with the idea of changing up some teaching strategies. Add a little spice into the way you teach by making students into the teacher. They will be itching to tell you what to do and for procedural tasks, this makes a great solution for changing things up.
Create an “Are You Smarter Thank Your Teacher” fun competition to review concepts at the end of a unit. For math, consider letting students help create the test – you’ll be getting real bang for you buck with this one!
