Graduation time is coming! And that means summer is close behind. Here are some great graduation ideas for elementary grades. You and your students can celebrate the last days of school with these fun activities.
Kindergarten – Second Grade Graduations
If you teach Kindergarten, you’ll love the celebration and graduation alternatives that include what to do for a picnic, field trip or class clean up party. There’s not shortage of finding an idea that suits you.
If you teach first or second grade, have your kids get moving with a fun end of the year scavenger hunt. You really could do this with any grade level though since this includes a free editable set of tasks.
Graduation Celebration Ideas for Third – Fifth Grade
Third grade is such an awesome year. Capture the moments in time with a free printable memory book with eleven pages!
For fourth graders, celebrate your year together with a fun graduation to fifth grade activity. Skip the t-shirts or autograph books this year and sign autographs on beach balls! They’ll love them and get use all summer long.
I think a group of fifth graders might enjoy a little walk down memory lane – and not just over the school year, but their elementary years. Create a themed look into their past with a fun hook for each writing activity.
For example, think “frozen in time” and hand out popsicles as they remember and write moment of sheer panic at school. Or write about a crazy cool day in first or second grade they still remember fondly as they enjoy punch from krazy straws.
No matter how you wind up celebrating this year’s graduation, I hope you’ve had a fantastic school year!
