Simple Spring Water Scene Art Project
After being introduced to the artwork of Claude Monet, explore the colors of Monet’s Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies as inspiration. Students use masking tape to create the arc of a bridge across the entire span of the horizontal paper.
Keep extra tape off the edges to hold the paper in place. Dabbing with fingerpaint makes the beautiful and very easy strokes for this masterpiece that any grade can do it! It’s almost magical what happens when the entire sheet is covered and the tape is removed…
