Paper bags can make all kinds of neat crafts. Here is a fall tree craft made from a paper bag. If you’ve got a lunch sized paper bag, glue and fall colored paper – you’re set to go. You can also adapt this idea to creating a tree for each season and have your students work in small groups with a larger grocery store paper bag version.
If you’re hosting a Grandparents Day event – add names to the leaves (or have grandparents help out with that) to make a memorable craft together.
Easy Twisty Tree Paper Bag Project
This is a 7 step project that is easy to do with any grade level. Students will cut fringe into a paper bag and twist the bag into a tree shape. Each tree will be gorgeously unique since the twisting and leaf placement will all be different. These trees will be easy to handle and tote home by simply carrying them around the base of the trunk.
