Wildflower Art Project
Students will draw a flower and petals using a black oil pastel onto watercolor paper. Drawing the petals to the edges of the paper scale it just right – big and bold! With each grade level, decide what colors to make available and discuss creating shades of color too. Paint with either watercolor or tempera paint cakes all the way to the edges to get gorgeous, vibrant results.
