Read The Best Part of Me by Wendy Ewald with your class. Discuss the best parts of themselves and begin to think about what the best part of their dad is. Students should describe why that best part is special and meaningful to them.
You can even use included student samples to help students gather ideas. Students create a final product with a colored border and sign it for their dads.
This is definitely a keep sake to laminate for Father’s Day!
